What are news feeds?
RSS stands for Really Simply Syndication. News feeds allow you to be notified of updates to your favourite websites - such as ours - by subscribing to various ‘feeds’. It's easy. First, choose an RSS reader (see below) and for any page you’re interested in simply click on the orange RSS button to ‘subscribe’.
Why are they great?
It saves you from having to scan our site hourly for updates. You'll get news updates delivered straight to you the moment they're published.
What is an RSS reader?
To get RSS feeds, you'll need an RSS reader. This may be part of your web browser, email software or a separate, stand-alone program.
An RSS reader (also called an aggregator or news reader) is a tool that collects updated news from all the websites you want to track. Use it right and it’ll save you a lot of time and effort, by displaying all new headlines in a single space - your own personal newspaper.
How can I get an RSS reader?
You can use an RSS-savvy web browser (like Mozilla's Firefox for Windows, Mac and Linux) to subscribe to our feeds for free.
