💙 A Wonderful Week of Learning at St Michael’s! 💙 It’s been another busy and exciting week of learning across St Michael’s! 🌟 Kindergarten explored grouping by working together and organising themselves into different groups. 🎶 Year 1 responded creatively to the Gladiator theme music, reflecting on the piece through sound waves and drawings. 💻 Year 2 continued learning about how to stay safe online and making positive choices in the digital world. 🤝 Year 3 explored examples and non-examples of what it means to be a good friend and how our actions can positively impact others. 📚⚖️ Year 4 enjoyed getting lost in their reading while also exploring mass and weight, using scales to measure and compare different objects. 🎵 Year 5 have been enjoying music while learning all about different time signatures and how they shape the music we hear. 🙏 Year 6 have been exploring the Psalms and creating beautiful prayers for the Year 12 Nagle girls as they prepare for their HSC. What a wonderful week of creativity, collaboration, reflection and learning! 💙✨

✨ Be the Witness ✨ Yesterday, Tuesday 15 September, selected Year 5 and Year 6 students had the wonderful opportunity to experience Be the Witness, a soul-stirring contemporary Gospel musical that brings the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ to life through the eyes of the Apostle Peter. Through powerful music, storytelling and faith, our students were invited to reflect on Peter’s journey of discipleship, courage, doubt, forgiveness and ultimately, becoming a witness to Christ. It was a beautiful opportunity for our students to deepen their understanding of Jesus and be inspired to live out their own faith through hope, courage, love and service. 💙✝️ 🌟 Here are some comments from our students about their experience: 💬 "It was really lively and entertaining. I enjoyed the music, singing and acting, and it made the story of Jesus come alive.”- Christian Year 6 💬 "“I really liked that the story was told from Peter’s perspective instead of just focusing on Jesus. It gave me a different way of understanding the story, and it was really entertaining and fun to watch!”- Kate Year 5 We are so grateful our students had the opportunity to experience this inspiring musical and reflect on the message of Jesus in such a meaningful and memorable way. ❤️

✨ Celebrating St Michael’s Feast Day! ✨ What a wonderful way to celebrate our patron saint, St Michael the Archangel! 💙 Our students will enjoy a fun-filled day with Motiv8, filled with laughter, energy and plenty of excitement! 🎉🏃♀️🏃♂️ We will also come together as a school community for a special Feast Day Liturgy, giving us an opportunity to pause, pray and reflect on St Michael’s example of courage, faith and service. 🙏✨ May St Michael continue to guide, protect and inspire our students, staff and families as we live out our faith together.
