Term 3 is flying by and we are having so much fun in Year 4!! In English we have been working hard on our goal to develop our communication and collaboration skills in the reading block. Students have taken their newly assigned roles very seriously, helping build responsibility and accountability for learning. In Maths we have been busy developing fluency with our multiplication facts - the students are loving this challenge and the teachers have seen great growth across the term! Mr Pappas has planned some exciting experiments to spark curiosity and engagement in our Science unit - Living World/ Material World. The students are loving the hands on nature of this unit and learning lots along the way. We've been able to celebrate liturgies, host special guests like Mr Tet and continue advancing our skills in the Strings Program. Why not ask your child what they're learning about or what they love most about school... I wonder what wonderful things they will have to share about the magic of learning at St Michael's!

Today, Matthew and Annalise from Year 6 participated in the Blacktown Schools Cluster Final for Voice of Youth. They both presented their speeches with poise and confidence. Congratulations to Matthew who was awarded the Runner Up Trophy. Well done Matthew and Annalise, St Michaelβs is very proud of you both!! πππ
