We invite you to explore our school facilities and discover what makes St Michael's a great place for your child.
Learning spaces
We believe teaching is not confined to four walls, which is why we use a range of different spaces to engage students in their learning. This includes flexible learning spaces integrating the latest technology with hands-on, sensory experiences.
Infants spaces
Our youngest students learn in a bright, visually stimulating environment equipped with the latest technology. Flexible contemporary learning spaces can be reconfigured easily to suit specific learning activities.
Primary spaces
Our Primary learning spaces focus on developing the foundations of lifelong enquiry and love of learning. Students learn to work together and independently utilising resources that foster creativity and critical thinking.
Specialised areas
School Library
Our library is a favourite for all students who use it for reading, games, craft activities. Every class visits at least weekly to borrow books and develop their love of reading.
Out of Hours Care
Ambrose School Aged Care encourages your child’s journey in a caring and well resourced environment on the school grounds.
Early Learning Centre
Ambrose Early Years Learning supports the ideas, experiences and understanding of the children in a learning environment that values play.
Outdoor areas
Students at St Michael's also enjoy making the most of the school's outdoor areas. These include a large soccer field and veggie garden.
Basketball court
A large basketball court is one of a number of areas available for students to engage in physical activity and, being undercover, it can be used all year round.
Soccer field and running track
We strive to offer our children a range of activities and sporting opportunities that help to develop the whole person and have a number of open outdoor areas and sports courts available.
Infants and primary playgrounds
Our playgrounds have been fully refurbished with artificial turf to provide more running and active play options for the students. There is also climbing equipment and a range of active and passive play spaces for the students to enjoy.
Veggie garden
The veggie garden is a fun and inclusive area, where children learn, have fun and emotionally regulate through gardening activities. In addition to learning new life skills, the children also increase their social participation.
