On the 5th of July, our Kindergarten students celebrated being at school for 100 days! They have now well and truly settled into their primary education!
With 100 days down, there’s just over 2,600 days until they’ll be ready to head off to high school!
We can’t believe that we’ve already completed close to 5% of our primary school journey. Kindergarten have been having fun making friends and learning about the world around them over the last 100 days, and in only two terms they’ll be moving up into Year One!
We celebrated by setting up a learning board which shows the different ways that the number 100 can be represented - we had cotton balls, counters, pegs and many other objects that when added together, created the number 100.
Much to the amusement of Kindergarten, our teachers had a blast dressing up for the day as 100-year-old grannies!
We ended the day with a picnic lunch in the beautiful weather where families and friends came along to help Kindergarten to celebrate one of their first of many big milestones!
Thank you to all of the families and friends who came along on the day to make it so special. Our Kindergarten children are excited to keep learning and can’t wait for their next 100 days!

ST MICHAEL’S SCHOOL DISCO Dear Parents and Caregivers, On Thursday the 17th of October, we will be hosting a school disco as a fundraising event to add additional play equipment to our grounds. Entry cost to the disco is $5.00 per child and includes a packet of chips, a drink, x2 lollies, a glow stick and access to the photobooth. Payments can be made via the Qkr! app. There will be NO disco sales at the door. Ticket sales close on the 14th October 2024. Two separate disco sessions will occur. Children may only attend the session at the time specified for their year level. Infants Session 1: 5:00pm - 6:15pm (Years K-2) Primary Session 2: 6:45pm - 8:00pm (Years 3 - 6) Parents will not be permitted inside the hall during the disco. Access to the school site will be via Orwell Street only. Children will need to be signed in and out of the disco by a parent or carer. For parents wishing to remain onsite during the disco, a sausage sizzle and a drink can be purchased for $5. Supervision of children outside the disco will be the responsibility of parents and carers. Thank you for your support.

Last Week Year 4 went to Auburn Botanic Gardens! This term we have been learning about the climate, natural vegetation and native animals of places in Australia and Asia. The excursion was awesome to build onto our knowledge! We walked, we talked, we went bug catching and even made animal habitats! It was an awesome day for our students and even the teachers! Dear Parents/ Carers, With the prediction of heavy rainfall for tomorrow (26/9), we have decided to postpone our St Michael's Day mass and Talent Showcase. Mrs Easton will communicate when we have a new date to celebrate this special event as a community, sometime in Term 4. We will also need to postpone our Week 10 assembly that was scheduled for Friday (27/9). Sports awards will now be handed out at our Term 4, Week 2 assembly. Thank you for your understanding. Stay tuned for more information regarding new dates for our St Michael's Day celebrations in Term 4.

We look forward to celebrating St Michael's Day with Motiv8 Sports tomorrow (23/9). Students are to wear their sports uniform, including their hats. Please pack extra water as we will be outdoors for the day, engaged in fun activities.
