winners of literacy competition
Winners of literacy competition.

The pressure was on at St Michaels. $1000 was up for grabs. The entire school worked on persuasive texts throughout Week 7 and Week 8 to persuade Mr Laffan and Mrs McKay on how to spend $1000 on equipment for the school.

The winners were Joshua P. and Pavithran V. in Miss Lyons class in Year 5L. Miss Lyons said "the boys worked really hard to research a range of ideas that were health and safety conscious, whilst being fun and enjoyable."

This was a great initiative to boost a love for writing in the school. The rich purpose of this task appealed to all the students. The students will soon have new playground equipment to enjoy!

We look forward to the next literacy challenge!
