St Michael’s will be proudly supporting Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea as we come together to raise awareness and funds for those impacted by cancer—a cause very close to our hearts. We know that many of our families have been affected, and this is a meaningful way for our community to show care and support. On Wednesday 21st May, students are invited to take part in a Superhero Mufti Day and enjoy a special picnic from 10:50am-11:20am. Parents and carers are warmly invited to join us for this time of connection and community. We encourage all families to donate, if they are able, to support this important cause. Every contribution, big or small, helps make a difference 💛

Who’s got 8 pawns and loves winning - these guys! The sun was out but it was raining trophies for St Michael’s at the first Interschool Chess Challenge Heats of 2026. 12 schools and 144 students crashed the community centre in Glenmore Park where St Michael’s finished second overall to secure a spot in the Semis later this year. There were individual awards as well for Adam and Dev who won 6 out of 7 matches, while Jaibir and Patrick smashed the 8yr old division. Dev, Adam, Keert, Jaibir and Jiyaan will now head to the Semi Finals in Term 3 while the rest of the squad pushes for a second qualification at the next heats in Term 2.

⚾️ Bruce’s Baseball Journey! A huge congratulations to Bruce from Year 6 on being selected to represent the Greater Western Warriors at the State Championships next month! The boys have been training hard, having fun, and are ready to give it their all.
